Some of the job responsibilities are:

 

  • Participate in development of annual sales budget targets
  • Continually build customer relationships; maintain and service accounts
  • Represent Beatrice Bakery Co. at trade shows and community events
  • Conduct out-of-office sales calls to prospects and current customers
  • Develop techniques and strategies to optimize sales
  • Work closely with marketing team on branding, advertising and sales
  • Provide projects, reports and budgets
  • Some travel required

 

Qualifications:

  • Integral knowledge of food business and proper channels of distribution
  • Must have good math skills
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills

We are hiring a sanitation technician to join our team during the evening hours of 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. We offer family friendly work environment, and we have a strong commitment to our team members. 

Sanitation Technician

The sanitation technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the plant to ensure that the company meets regulatory requirements and a clean environment to produce wholefood products. Tasks that are involved consist of janitorial tasks, pan washing, clean and sanitize equipment.

Qualifications         

  • Must have the ability to work as a member of a team as well as   independently
  • Must have basic math and communication skills
  • Knowledge to complete required paperwork
  • Must be able to comprehend machine instructions, safety, and warning signs, etc

 

Additional Information       

  • Must have the ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift required containers up to 75lbs
  • Must have the physical ability to push/pull 2,000lbs on wheeled carts
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and possess motor skills enabling mobility and quick reflexes, as well as dexterity in ceiling height areas
  • Must be capable of movement throughout the plant
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and distinctly
  • Hearing protection must be worn at all times in the pan washing area
  • An annual hearing test is performed each year to monitor changes in the hearing threshold

The production team is responsible for ensuring that our cakes are baked to the highest quality that meets company, regulatory, and customer standards. Positions are rotated every 30 minutes and consist of functions like cake presser, fruit topper, cake depanning, slicing, and cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of the food environment
  • Able to show good communication skills
  • Good math skills

Objective

Produce a high-quality product by filling pans with batter, hand decorating cakes, slicing and packaging product with safety and BBC standards, in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality products safely and hygienically as per company GMP standards
  • Positions are rotated every 30 minutes
  • Positions on the line include; depositor Operator, scaler, cake presser, fruit topper 1, almond/fruit topper 2, nut sprinkler and final press
  • Positions on the packaging line include; cake de-panning, cake peeler, cake inspector, stuffer, tins, glue machine operator, box machine and operator
  • Making sure the products are correctly sealed, Julian code and other printing are clear and legible
  • Positions on the slicing line include; cake peeler, slicer, slicing chain conveyor, slicing wheel, reject
  • Making sure the products overall appearance is good
  • Clean equipment used at the batter and packaging line
  • Sort nuts, label boxes, prepare packaging and repackaging as needed, and other task that need to be done while not on production line
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Plant Production Manager and Production Manager

Additional Information

  • Must have the ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift required containers up to 50lbs and push/pull 1,000lbs on wheeled cart
  • Mush have visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect warning devices/signs and deviations from production standards
  • Must be capable of maintaining production output under normal production environmental conditions (temperature extremes)
  • Must be capable of movement throughout the plant
  • Must be able to evaluate employee adherence to proper procedures; must have speech and hearing abilities to communicate effectively, clearly, and distinctly
  • Must have visual perception to adequately evaluate product color and size as well as
  • Must be able to taste and smell for evaluation of products
